A.B.A.T.E. of Louisiana is a non-profit organization dedicated to motorcycle safety, awareness, and realistic motorcycle legislation. Through the efforts of A.B.A.T.E of Louisiana, concerned motorcyclists, and supporters, Louisiana no longer has a mandatory helmet law for those eighteen years of age or older. A.B.A.T.E. is not a club. Membership is open to all motorcyclists from all walks of life, riding all types of motorcycles. We are affiliated with national rights groups such as the American Motorcycle Association AMA, National Coalition of Motorcyclist NCOM, and the Motorcycle Riders Foundation MRF.

A.B.A.T.E. (A Brotherhood Against Totalitarian Enactments) of Maryland is the largest association of motorcycle riders in Maryland, whose members have joined together to advocate training as the foremost means to reducing accidents and injury, to put an end to discriminatory legislation, to communicate via a bi-monthly newsletter, to explore ways to improve the overall motorcycling experience in Maryland, and to provide for and assure a continuing freedom and affordability of motorcycling.

Membership in ABATE of Ohio, Inc. is open to all persons 18 or over having an interest in preserving personal freedoms and sharing our goals. Ownership of a motorcycle is not necessary. Dues are $20 single, $30 couple annually.
